Well, I woke up this morning, feeling pretty good, liking how I looked in the mirror (though I could still see I'm a bit bloaty from all the wheat products and processed foods), and I got curious.
So I got on the scale.
And, PHEW, good news: 120!!!
So, I weighed in Thursday morning at 119.2 and the Friday the week after at 120. After my wedding. After all that partying.
I would call that maintenance! :D
I know I ate junk, I know I drank alcohol. I planned on doing those things. But I really did try my hardest to be as moderate as I could in the situation. Eat pizza, don't binge on it. Have some drinks while getting my hair done, but don't get drunk. Stuff like that.
And, of course, eating as paleo as I could when not doing the celebratory stuff!
It all feels POSSIBLE now. If I can maintain a low weight on my wedding week just by attempting some mindfulness with my food and activity, I can live the rest of my life.
It will always be a work in progress, but it's possible.
